Hello folks,
Anyone tried both these isolation feet under a DAC before? Which did you like better? Pros and cons of each in terms of sound? Thanks for any feedback...
Regards....

I'm afraid I can't offer a direct comparison, but I have owned both the Tenderfeet and Isonodes--albeit at different times, under different gear.
As I recall, the Isonodes were pretty good under an early Oppo universal player, but I ultimately replaced them with a set of Clearaudio Magix, which were clearly on a different plane performance-wise (but at a staggering cost).
I've always liked HAL's Tenderfeet. I use them under my integrated amp and Oppo 103D in my second system, and I've had no serious desire to change or upgrade. Can it get better? Yes. You could get into Stillpoints, Marigo Bearfeet, magnetic repulsion, and things like that, but they will COST you . . . big time. The HAL stuff is really, really good, and priced fairly for the performance it offers.
Sorry I can't be of more help. Good luck!

Hi Quint,
Actually, that helped a lot. Thank you,. I'm leaning towards the Tenderfeet for now,. I also have an Oppo, a plain 103 with a modified psu section. I'm using it as a transport for audio but I still have to compare it to my old Theta Pearl cd transport that might need recapping soon. I'm slowly going back into audio after a hiatus; and some video too recently.
Yeah, I've had elaborate isolation stuff too from Harmonix (used) and some British made adjustable spikes that I sold off along with a turntable. So it can really be rabbit hole cost-wise..
Best regards....
You're most welcome, Fred. Glad to help!
Just FYI, if your factory feet on the DAC are kinda tall, you might want to look into the Big Tall Tenderfoot , which is useful in lifting a component clear of tall factory feet. I use them on my Coda integrated, which has beefy footers.

Hi Quint,
Thanks for the tip.. I just might do that too with the Oppo for more clearance.
Regards..
IME, Herbie's Audio Lab Tenderfoot feet placed under a Museatex DAC for many years now clearly outperformed a set of IsoNodes. YMMV
Thanks Duster!
Looks like I'm going for the Tenderfeet... I might even spring some more for my tube Phonostage + external psu, and my Oppo if I get good results from the DAC.
Regards..
I have Tenderfeet under all of my components. I have tall firm tenderfeet under my power amp. They clean up the sound a bit without altering the sound signature of the component.
