  I think that Jon meant cleaning up / vacuuming the work area, not vacuuming the Bass Traps !!! Your thoughts that it would pull the fiberglass closer to the surface is probably correct.

  If your worried about it, i would do a double layer of the poly and then cover them in burlap. This looks quite acceptable. I would however, refrain from rubbing up against them naked for any extended period of time : ) Sean
