I have a Signal SU-2 I will be wiring balanced for a whole system.
For the digital I have a MPI-200-230 that will branch off the SU-2. The MPI will have eough headroom in either balanced or isolation for my demand.
Being the whole sytem will be balanced wondering if I should wire the MPI for balanced or isolation.

I have a D-5 powering all my analog and off that I have a DU-1.5 powering by CDP. Both are isolated and balanced.
If you feed the MPI balanced power, will it not output balanced? If that is the case, wire for isolation. Then you will have both. If I am dreaming, then wire for balanced and follow the link for isolation to be used along with the MPI.
Thats what I am not sure of, does wiring as isolation break the balance power.
The wiring of the secondary is the only determining factor for balanced power. It makes no difference how the primary is wired or what is feeding it (with respect to the "balanced" question).

Gotcha, thanks Mike.
A $5 test meter will tell you...
