Thanks coolhand, but I think X-Dream would not be suitable for the "in box" treatment of amps, preamps...etc where you need a thinner material like Pulshut.

Mmmmm, I'm not sure how much thinner you would require for hifi gear, the product I linked is a mere 0.5mm thick ( that's 0.0196 inches thick) !?!
But in case you didn't check out the numerous other emf/rf shielding products which Spectran offers, I've linked their main RF shielding products page below.
I haven't tried any myself but they appear to be rather competitively priced and actually provide laboratory tested specifications for each product.
The specs of X-Dream are spectacular and it appears to be thin enough for "hi-fi" too, but do you think these two products are comparable?

Well I just had a quick peruse of the Asahi-Kasei Pulshut pages and from what I could determine that product range is essentially very similar in numerous respects to the types of shielding materials offered by Aaronia.
I imagine that the X-Dream product would be ideal for your intended application, if you do try some please leave some feedback, it's something I plan to do some experimenting with also!
