On my cd5000, Marantz uses a 'weird screw' to secure the casing. What do I need to remove it? It is almost like an allen screw...
Thanks in advance.

Is the "hole" in the screw-head square? If so, it is called a "Robinson", the greatest invention since sliced bread, (virtually impossible for screwdriver blade to slip-- no more bleeding knuckles) Regards, Impoverished.
My AH! Tjoeb, a Marantz-modded- uses a Torx 10. They come in different sizes: 10,15,20,etc. Should be able to get one for the price of a typical screwdriver.
The fact that you don't know what a Torx head is probably means that you should not be looking to mess with the CD player's innards.
You can buy a set of those weird screwdrives at Sears! bobwire
