This is a very SLOOOOOOW project that i started back a few months ago. I am redesigning / modding / upgrading an OLD solid state amp and need a larger chassis to work with. The original chassis is very cramped and poorly laid out. Power leads, low level signal wires and speaker leads were crossing all over each other. There were also unnecessarily long runs of wire all over the place. The power supply filter caps are also way too small, but there just isn't enough room to install any more of them.
I could just make do with upgrading what is there, but i figured that as long as I was going to all of this trouble, I would do it right. As it is, I can afford to wait until i find something that I find suitable. Sean
