  That is nice somple design (I might have to build one myself) but I have to question your decision to go with two tramsformers because you said "The supply makes use of two transformer per channel. This way, less diodes are necessary."

  But your design uses four diodes. As you can see from the attached schematic a basic split power supply only uses four diodes and one center tapped transformer to get the same +/- voltages.

  BTW: That is just the first schematic I found on the net, so any mistakes or descrepencies are not my doing.
