A "golden ear" friend of mine, who owns a loudspeaker factory and works part time as a rewiewer in a major mag borrowed my (your) filter and compared it to Power Wedge and another Helion brand AC conditioner and found my job superior - not choking the sound but very musical, etc.He was very surprised and wanted one for himself immediately. (Like everyone who heard it.)
Seems that this is really the way to go !!!!
The equipment he used was Micromega trio CD transport (top model) and TACT Millenium amp. Funny that this digiotal setup also responded so favorably to this filter.
Thanks again

Lukasz,It was designed with audio in mind, after extensive analysis of the existing competition and the AC power line conditions.
It is not too ambitious in terms of filtering, keeping to the frequency region above the audio band, with the primary design goal to not limit dynamics of any component, including a power amp. The use of higher voltage MOV's limit's their degradation of the sonics, yet still provides excellent surge protection.
When this circuit first came out commercially, in the Discwasher Spikemaster, both Harry Pearson and Enid Lumley raved about how good they were for the sound of even the highest end system. Of course, they had their caveats and nit-picks, but on the whole they loved the unit, with the ABSound magazine ordering several for review system use. Their probably would have been more interest and uproar over them, but something else came along to distract the high end community and the product never got the exposure it deserved.
As with the DIY cables, use of the finest connectors and good wiring practice will pay dividends in terms of purer sonics.
Multiple filters could be used for the various components, such as one filter set for the digital equipment, and another for the line level analog, and a separate one for the power amp. Guess what version I'm using?
