Do I read this right? You are tri-amping without and active crossover! Why bother? bobwire
In order to clarify, I will explain my system. Perhaps I should not haave used the term tri-amp.I have Acoustat speakers. They are the model 3s. I have done many mods to the Acoustats, but the best by far is using one interface per panel. This works well, really opens up the soundstage.
Anyway, I am using one channel of amp per interface, or 6 total. The load each interface represents is quite difficult, around 3 ohms nominal. That is why I can't run any of the interfaces in parallel.
All panels are driven full range, thus the lack of crossover. Maybe I could build an electronic buffer of some sort?
Thanks again for any help.
