Onc should ask how many manufacturer's of amps, preamps, and speakers are actively performing cryo on their components or sub assemblies which make up their assemblies. Funny that not one manufacturer has jumped on the cryo wagon. At least I have not seen any advertising that they cryo their capacitors or use cryo hook up wire or their PC boards are cryoed. So does that give you any confirmation of the value of the cryo process?

Follow Ups:
I know of at least one speaker manufacturer, several cable manufacturers, and at least one guy who manufactures electronics who cryo's his gear. Some elect not to advertise, simply because it is a 'trade' secret.
A couple of these guys are on Stereophile's recommended components list, BTW. Two of them have been in business over 25 years apiece.
OH COMON!! YOu know how it works. Manufacturer's will jump on any bandwagon that promotes or sells their product. Unless, it is a waste of money.

I can think of at least 10 manufacturers that emply cryo in their products, not terribly difficult to figure out who; but I agree some mfgrs might not want to advertise this as they figure it might be bad for business (since there is often such a strong reaction to the concept).
