The listening results were arrived at by the fact that I have had the same system in the same room for over a year now with very little changes so you could say I am intimately familiar with how systems sounds.The only change that was made was the removal of the original fuse and the insertion of the cryo'd fuse of the same amperage rating.
I stand by what I reported the changes to be. And would like to add that it continues to sound more refinded as the fuse breaks in!
Instead of spouting off about "Wanting to hear a change" and a bunch of other psychobabble bullshit, why don't you spend $5 and find out for yourself if what I am saying is not true?
Surely you can afford to gamble with $5 and possibly improve your system's resolution as well. Up to it?

Why don't you put your money where your mouth is. If you send me your cryo-treated and broken-in fuse, I'll reimburse you the shipping cost and try it in my system. I promise that I will keep an open mind in evaluating it and will report my findings here. After trying it, I'll return it to you. If I break it, I'll pay you. If I like it, I may buy it from you. Does this sound reasonable? Up to it?

Well.......my attitude was somewhat as your's was before I made the decision to spend the money and take a chance on something that I had read about and was curious to see if what had been reported was true. I took the chance and was convinced there are benefits to cryo treating even something as minuscule as a fuse.I am not asking you to verify what I heard. I am merely seeing if you could put aside your preconceived assumptions on cryogenic treatment of metals and with an open mind, let your own ears be the judge.
Who gives a shit if I can make some measurements on some test equipment and plot it on a graph to "show" me there IS a difference.
Example: SET amps measure like shit with elevated harmonic distortion and limited output but I don't need a graph to show me that most SS amps when compared to an SET amp sound like lifeless cardboard cutouts of the musicians with a good portion of the musical emotion stripped away. And besides, I would like to see a graph that can depict the "musical emotion" that SET amps have over SS.
Therefore I am leaving the ball in your court. I am not out to have you or anyone else verify what I heard. As a music lover and an Audiophile, I am just passing along something that took me a small step closer to the essence of the music.

I think your attitude is the one that is "very interesting".IMO it does NOT seem reasonable for kenster to take the trouble to buy and mail the fuses to you, when the only payback is that you will reimburse him it works!
Lets make this more interesting: if you lose (meaning kenster is right), paint "I'm a BOOB" on your forehead, take a picture and post it on this forum. I think that would be more fair.

I think that would be more fair."I'd expect that kind of language to come from my neighbor's 13 year old boy. What do you intend to accomplish by throwing insults? Do you sincerely believe that people who read this exchange will view you eagerness to insult people as a proof of the effectiveness of cryo treatment?
Also, are you up to your own challenge? If I win, would you paint your forehead and post the picture? If so, I am willing to take the challenge. If, on the other hand, all you can do is to hide behind anonymity and throw insults, then beat it.

A better use of time, IMO, is to read up on science of deep cryogenic treatment. It has wide ranging applications, audio being only one of them.

If, however, you just declare that there is no way you want to accept my statement if I hear no difference (which may or may not be the case), even before I try it, then you are simply being evasive and are in no position to declare that you are up to the challenge.
Also, just for the record, I don't view this "challenge" as one that will determine whether kenster will "lose" or I will "win." Kenster stated his view/experience. I did not say his view is wrong. I did ask him about the methodology he used to arrive at his conclusion. If I try the cryo-treated fuse and do not hear a difference, that result does not indicate that kenster does not truly believe that he can hear differences. In other words, even if I hear no difference, that does not mean kenster is a loser. I hope you understand that.

Great, now we are talking about science, which is something I do know. Your statement suggests that you have a pretty good knowledge of this "science of deep cryogenic treatment." Would you be so kind to educate me by pointing to articles, publications, etc. about this "science," especially any article explaining the mechanism through which cryogenic treatment can affect the sound? Also, could you please tell me about your scientific background?
As I said from the beginning, I have not taken the position of rejecting the "benefits" of cryo treatment. Also, please remember, I did not even ask you for any scientific explanation before you used the S word. Now that you have opened the door, please do tell me about your scientific explanation.

Its not strictly neccessary to have a published abck up for any findings.
The basis of "science" is observation and deduction.
I still get the sense you think you are "playing" this thread and I have no idea why...
Pehaps you could let us in on it...
Together (since you have "opened the door) to your scientific background and what you have done to prove that cryo treatments have no effect.
By the way, if you don't hear a change in your system, it doesn't mean he "believes" the change in his is true, it only means that you can't hear it in your system.
A little more rigour here would be welcome.
