  its almost certainly under the transport. the only boards i can see from the pictures on upscaleaudio.com are the tube, the power supply, the display controller, and then the board under the transport. this might require some tough disassembly...

    The transport board is very easy to remove and examine. (2 screws- 2 minutes).Has anyone located the clock for sure on the underside of the transport board?
