I purchased one of these outlets and now I'm not sure how to install it. Does anyone have any experience installing these? I was expecting two screws on each side plus the ground but it only has one screw plus the ground. It looks like if you open the screw there is a place in the back of the outlet to insert the wires (2 black, 2 white) is that correct? Or should I be connecting my black wires to the one screw and the white to the other screw? Last question how do you tell which side is the neutral and which side is the hot side?

Follow Ups:
You should NOT combine two wires under one screw. Use the holes in the back instead.

that these receptacles are neither Code-defined "listed", nor (less sure on this one) that they come with terminal torque specs. Just a hunch, based on past experience w/ competing products.

....you're fluent in Japanese, and can inform us?Hmmm....a nice lunch sounds good. How about some delicious Dim Sum, or superb Sushi? The receptacles are PSE-listed, which I'm told is an even more stringent process than UL....and that listing is already in the works.

If you look on the back of outlet, you will see an "N" embossed on the outlet body. That is the Neutral side. Regardless, the smaller vertical slot on the outlet face is *always* HOT....the larger vertical slot is NEUTRAL.
And as I stated in my e-mail to you.... "if you are unsure, please have a qualified electrician install the new outlet. Safety first, always!
