Of course a Body man could paint yr Speaker boxes.. But Do remove the drivers to do this, this ain't optional .
Also have the painter add plasticiser to the Paint.. Wood moves a bit with humidity.. car metal doesn't :-)

do I need him to add plasticiser if it's constructed of mdf. I was under the impression mdf was a lot more resistant to humidity. Do you think the underlying surface (mdf versus sheet metal) can affect the way the paint looks. I don't want to get a bright silver color and it come out duller or with a tint on them...

Plastic bits require 'Plasticiser' Yr Bodyman Knows all this (unless he's a complete Dolt).. Don't worry about it.
