Hi Julien,I lost quite a lot of bass after switching to Cardas cable on my Keilidh. Not sure what size cable was used as I got someone to do it for me. Do you think it is because of the x-over?
I should have good bass as I am using mod CD player with Plinius SA100MkII.
ask whoever replaced the wires. they should be able to give you an explanation.
Lets try getting the specs from Linn.
I e-mailed them once before and they replied promptly.
Maybe they'll even give us some advice.

I found the problem after removing the driver. The stuffing(filling) were too closed to the driver. After I rearranged the filling, I got my bass back.
This makes me wonder if I can get even better bass by using something like Spectra Deflex damping and removed all the filling. Have anyone try this? Some question about the resistors and caps.
Is the Ohmite resistors and Cresendo Power caps a better option than the Mills resistors and Hovland Musicap? Both are good quality and not sure which is better for Keilidh - which is using a ceramic tweeter. Also, anyone know the value of the inductors? There isn't any writing or label on the current inductors or circuit board.
