Hi,
I just got a Sony MHC GX450, not a very technical person, so I was just wondering if someone can guide me how to connect my tv (Panasonic) and dvd player to the system so that I could get the sound output from the speakers of the Sony MHC GX450 and what additional equipment (cords etc) will be needed for accomplishing this.
Would appreciate any help in this regard, I am newbie to these kind of things.
Thanks in advance.

Hi, whos DVD player, and what type of audio/video jacks does it provide?
Does your Panny have any *audio* in/out jacks, and what type of *video* input, does it provide for?
Does the Sony have aux/audio "input" jacks?
Typically with this type of equipment, the audio and video from the DVD could be run to the TV, and then, using the audio "out" on the TV, to your Sony's audio/aux "input" jacks. Other options exist, if you don't need or want the audio portion of the TV, when playing DVDs.
I could be mistaken.
