Hey,
Dont worry. I understand that Bass in particular is a difficult issue to control. As per ur room dimensions, i would like to give 2 main suggestions that will help resolve ur issue to a very great extent.
1st of all, u need to keep the fattest basstrap exactly behind ur listening position on the wall. This is the most critical area where basstrap shows its caliber.
The 2nd thing i suggest is that u need to stuff some polyester wadding in the vents of ur speakers. This HAS to be done, bcos the dimensions of ur room are NOT AT ALL in the proper ratio. I mean to say that ur room has almost equivalent dimensions which results in a lot of bass build-up in the room due to equidistant opposing walls.
Try the 2 & let me know the end result. And for ur infomation, i have a total of 36 basstraps along the perimeter of my room....the most critical ones being the one i have described above & the second being the ones exactly behind ur speakers on the wall ( must be the leanest trap...say 9")
