My Exposure XV integrated amp is almost 20 years old and I think it is time to replace the caps in the power supply. I contacted Exposure and they want almost $55 per cap and there are 4 to replace. The caps are 10000uf/63v, is there any reason why I couldnt just buy a less expensive cap to replace the "exposure" cap which seems to be overpriced?? I check a few websites and so far I have found the Elna Cerafine for $35 and the Nichicon KG super for $22. Anyone have any other ideas on a cap that will work well in my amp that wont cost to much?? I was thinking of checking out Aerovox I think this is the Cap that Naim uses in the NAIT which is very soimilar to the Exposure.

As long as the new cap fits there is no reason not to use Cerafina or Nichicon. I bet the Exposure cap are not as good as those two. Exposure is not in parts business and they will charge more for the effort.
Do you even thinkthe caps really need to be replaced?? I have heard many people say that after 10-15 years the caps in the power suplly start to wear out and can effect the sound quality. How would I now if the caps need replacing, the amp is about 13 years old. Any other brand cap I should consider, I was thinking of BHC Aerovox which i believe is the cap that NAIm uses, any other reasonably priced cap besides the Elna and Nichicon?
