Does a kit exist for a high quality phono RIAA stage which can accomodate from low output MCs to normal run of the mill MMs. I would want full flexibility - changing capacitance, resistance and accommodating different output voltages from the cartridge. Or am I being overly optimistic?

Thanks for the responses - looks like too hard for me - I'll just get my pre-amp reconfigured (long story not worth hearing!).

Very flexable to a point. You need to do a little more than throw a switch. Although with a ingenuity you may be able to configure the features you want to be switched

Has a lot of flexibility and is a great bang for the buck. This pix is my version of the phono stage (lower half) and line stage (top half). It's available in raw PCBs, kit w/parts and assembled. They have "mating" power supplies or DIY as I did. Cases as well.
I recommend getting the parts kit and then do some "boutique" parts swapping. It saves time and money in the long run. I bought raw boards - won't do THAT again!
