I have already put on one coat that is mineralized (if that means thinned with turpentine). Should I follow-up with a non-thinned coat??
How many more should I use?
Also, what are you planning to do to your pre-amp?? Are you going to put this EVERYWHERE, or just key places??

Tone:Thanks for the input. Are you saying that a basecoat should not be thinned? In that case, how does one achieve such a thin coat for the base and topcoat?
Also, you mention a slurry with some diamond powder. Where should one try this? On IC's and such?
