I recognize that this is hard to visualize. I'm going to make some "nude" Music Boy/Petras today and will attempt to photograph the process and post pix later today.

I'm attaching a link to describe the process of "denuding" Music Boy/Petra cables. No soldering or crimping is required and the tools you'll need are all pretty common, plus some teflon pumber's tape. See my other post above for help in finding the faucet washers that hold the nude cables onto the RCA jacks. I am now using these wires throughout my system and like them better than any other ICs and digital links I've tried, up to and including some that cost $600.Thanks again to Paco for setting me on this course in the first place. Let me know if anything is unclear.

Dear Dave Pogue,
Could you post more photo on the forum to describe the detail about diy "Nude IC" ?
I feel confuse.Where can I buy the faucet washers?
How can I hold the cable onto the RCA jacks?
My cable is too thin , the center of the cable is 3mm.
If the cable do not have RCA jacks , How can I hold the ground ?

According to the Danco web site (www.danco.com), the faucet washers are available in the U.S. at Ace hardware stores, Home Depot, Lowe's, and many other hardware stores and chains. Look for their model #80359 (Seat Washers for Price Pfister, Fits Two Handle Faucets 3H-8H/C)Reread the instructions carefully about how the cable center conductor fits snugly into the jack and the outer ground wires are held onto the outside of the jack with the faucet washers.
This tweak will only work using the specified Music Boy/Petra cables from Starlink. Or, rather, that's the only cable I have tried i with.
