won't that kill their TPT?or is it applied on different stuff?
I beleive it IS the TPT.Jon Risch
according to George via the phone it's a high gain treatment of specific waveform & frequency that supposed to do something that reminds me a lot of bybee stuff.
John,TPT has nothing to do with cryogenic treatment. I've seen the process and it essentially has to do with treating the cables with extremely intense magnetic fields.

Apparently he has gottn more talkative about it, as years ago, he would not say what TPT was. Suppossedly, he was a customer of one of the cryo treatment services.Jon Risch

That's not true.
After SP commented on the TPT technology (which is now what 7-10 years ago), George invited all the magazines (TAS, SP, Sounds Like..., etc.) to send a writer to observe how he treated cables, CDs, etc --and then listen to and review the treated wares. I'm not sure but I do think a report was published somewhere; maybe in The Audiophile Voice????
George has never been secretative -- except to protect his product from being copied. TPT actually descends from the original Coherence Technlogy clocks sold many years ago. (The new Quantum Technologies unit is also related to the Coherence clock.) Where George failed was trying to offer an explanation for something that really was not commpletely understood. TPT did change the sound--but the early generations (I haven't heard TPT in years and George has told me its been changed significantly) just didn't make it IMS.

Well, now that I think back on it, it was over 10 years ago, my how time flies! I called him up and asked flat out what TPT was, and got some vague meanderings about fields and processing and so on, nothing that I could make sense out of, and when I asked questions, the responses were equally vague. Perhaps this was before he decided to give out more information. Of course, I was not any of the recognized audio writers or heavy-weights, and he may have thought I was trying to rip him off or copy his process. I have, over the years, called and talked to quite a few of the cable folks, and while some will tell you just about everything they know, others do seem to keep their favorite technology close to the vest.I should try calling again, and see if he would be more forthcoming with some details.

I think he got more talkative by defending his work. Apparently one reviewer dis'd him & he has been on the ramage ever since. The one bad review has really gone subdermal on his rectum. This is all pure conjecture but after my convo with him, it seems almost obvious. I don't think the TPT has changed in as much altered. He says he's got a good handle on the phenomenon & is precisely repeteable but I don't really think he knows what he's discovered. His explaination is a bit thin.
Although, he says he can tweak the sound anyway you want it by altering the wacform & frequency. My only worry is atomic choas eventually deguassing the treatment into the original lower energy state. My gut feeling is that this entropy can't stay orderred that long.
