I recommend Finite-Elemente racks. They are being sold in Japan also. I believe that The Spider rack is the most popular rack in Finland and for a good reason.http://www.finite-elemente.de/e,,products.html
Here's the prices in Finland:

Follow Ups:
I recall seeing a similar product. But the rack horizontal supports provided a curved top for placing ball bearings. Further the top rack was suspended using a spring system. Was well over $1K as I recall. Looked pretty funky. Was light though almost seemed to light.Believe the same line. But can not find anything on line in Japanese. Nor any with the ball supports I mentioned in any language. Not much in English either.
Can you elaborate on performance aspects or provide other links? a model name might help, tried variations on spider in katakana but no luck.
Saw the Solid Tech from Sweden looked similar to the Finite Elemente, but a little pricey.
