What's wrong with normal IEC inlets? In what way are those silver plated connectors better. Silver becomes oxidized quite easily and IEC socket can't be cleaned (at least not easily).
Follow Ups:
resulting silver oxide is still an excellent electrical conductor which cant be said for copper oxide or aluminum oxide.
