  I cannot assure you of sound difference, but I can tell you that it is much easier to use. It works well at a lower temperature, spreads quickly, toughens quickly into a bond that is hard to break without desoldering.

  I'm glad I went for the big roll of it from Sonic Craft for about $38 for a pound.
