Have the hinged base and will make sure I can tilt it down safely. I can plan for a pipe in groud to support tower at height to prevent damage to antennas..My real issue is I want to bracket it to building at 8 feet with no guys. The height above bracket is 22feet and when I look around my neighborhood I see many cheap antenna towers 40 feet high bracketed at around 10 to 20 feet with some having 2 14 foot antenna on top attached to small diameter pipe conected to rotator which is on top of tower.
The rohn25g seems very solid and I will be using the heavy duty bearing with 2 inch pipe exteded down through the tower to rotator on shelf..
I'm confused about needing guys when every antenna tower I see not guyed?

but haven't installed it. 20 feet is un bracketed. 3 brackets on house two in a pair dynabolted to brick and one off the facia-board.maximum winds here are 110km/h every 2-3 years.
BTA My mast is DIY sleeved pipe and is very strong (HEAVY too)!!!
