My Eico 2200 tuner has full quieting receive on my favorite FM stereo station that is 70 miles from my location. My antenna is a Radio Shack folded dipole in an 'S' configuration in the attic on a single story house. It is a real low performance onmi-directional antenna. Obviously, the tuner has a 'hot' front-end.

If I had some class for high quality, a Yagi would be killer. But, if I get the signal I need, oh well.
