That's a normal config.. Could be some kind of filtering in there
too, hard to say, there's so many UHF/microwave connector types out there.

I recall experimenting a number of years ago with hi-gain wifi antennas. I am thinking it might be something to do with that gear.
There must be something wrong with me for not having something wrong.
Could be...anything from UHF to microwave GHz stuff. In general,
the higher the frequency, the more/better shielding you need.
