I've got a great antenna and a great tuner. The problem is I have few radio stations and no classical ones at all. I just don't get it. Houston is a great and vibrant city with a rich musical history, especially with regard to Jazz, blues and classical. Its one of the best cities for live music. But the radio is just awful. We have 1 part time Jazz station and no classical stations if you don't have HD radio. We have a Pacifica station which plays wonderful music when they play music. The rest of their content is hard line pegged to the left political content in which I have absolutely no interest.

I had the same thing in NJ. I used to get NJ and NYC radio stations. For a such a world famous city known for culture they had CRAP radio.
While in NJ the few classical stations were situated between three military bases and then horribly compressed after they were upgraded???
Now I listen to Classical 90.3 from the Netherlands. These are the stations availble on a Marantz streamer
For now, pick up the internet stream from WWFM.org, as your classical music source.
Consider founding a group that supports a WWFM repeater in the Houston, TX, area. If Steamboat Springs, CO, does it, Houston, TX, can too.
