The Perfectionist Audio Pro Reference III/10K made it to Class A in the Stereophile Recommended Components. The selling price then was $10,000. From Stereophile Oct 1996:" Expensive but "world class" according to JE, who proclaimed it "competitive with anything I have heard." "Sounds were precisely articulated with remarkable resolution...{and} great speed". Moreover, the preamp "was superb in conveying rhythm and pace." A slight softening in the treble, reduced sense of upper/mid-bass weight, and minor ergonometric glitches, however, are areas requiring further work. Price includes phonostage, rack, and power supply"
