Very nice review. You know, I like the spacious sound of the Waves but I miss the detail of the Vectuer Club Six(I-4). I'm getting the Vecteur back in a few day's and I'm anxious to compare the two. Something seems to be missing with the Waves. I'm hearing a haze. I even upgraded to the Sovteks and that didn't help. Oh, well I'll keep playing with it.

From the posts ive read here Im not expecting a whole lot of sound quality when I order these. I do plan to upgrade caps, tubes and AC cords to blow my Rotel amp out of the water. Even thou they say it allready does stock.
Search the archives here and on the DECWARE BBS for posts by the moniker "Mon". That fellow came up with straight forward tweaks, including capacitor changes, that bumped performance up considerably. $100/monoblock buys parts of limited quality if a profit is to be made. IMO, ASL deserves a lot of credit for bringing something decent to market at a LOW price.
