The B&W 602s2 are stated to be 90db at 2.83v(1 watt at 8ohms) I live in a relativly small apartment but even still the 15watts seem to be more than enough with plenty to spare, at least on my music choices which tends to be chamber music, jazz as well as full blown orchestral.and quite a bit of Steely Dan...AZ
