Looking for info about high end amplifiers using the E130L (Siemens or Philips) Pentode. Biasing, use as U.L.amplifier or triode.
E130L is very good valve. Here in Hugary Tungsram made lot of this valve. Very rugged, long life type.
I know only one recommendation by manufacturer which use 300V for plate, 150V for screen, and gives 60W.
The ultralinear is not possible, because the screen limit.
I alreday found datasheet in triode connection, up to 250V plate. Very beautiful low mu, low resistance triode.
If I can use I try as ARC in D70, with cathode coupling mode...Sajti
Those sure are beautifully made tubes (I don't know if the
Chinese ones are any good, never saw one), and have impressive
specs. I doubt you are going to use these as ultralinear
due to screen voltage limitations, unless you get a special
transformer with a separate screen winding.Any rate, you can find some info on E130L here:
