  Got my TV-7 back yesterday from Dan Nelson.
  
  Ran a couple of Amperex USA 6922 and 6N23P, and none had any noticeable gas reading.
  
  There was a minor reading increase on all tubes on the digital meter, but it would probably not be noticeable on the analog meter.
  
  Do you have a second tester you can run the tubes on?
  
  If not, you should get at least one other decent one. :)
  
  (I have many different ones)
