What is an LCR cleaner?
Google doesn't know.

I don't see why it wouldn't work.
That's what I used. I bought a few 01A tubes long time ago and cleaned the pins using the method I described.

LCR Cleaner not CLR. Typo!

make that two mistakes.
Just curious, what are Cajun bass traps?
Cajun bass traps are crawfish sacks filled with champagne corks (in my case, although any cork would do). A crawfish sack is very similar to the mesh style bag lemons come in except the mesh is larger and more see through. They typically hold about 40#s of crawfish. I estimate they weigh about 25#s filled with corks and a sack holds roughly 750 corks when brim full. Over the years I have been able to complete six of them and am 550 corks into the seventh. I simply stack them floor to ceiling at the front wall/side wall intersection as a substitute for tube traps, Each sack stands some 2 feet high so once I complete my eighth sack I'll be pretty much done. To ensure quality and uniformity, only corks from bottles whose contents has graced my personal flute will be employed. Cajun bass trap making is a very expensive and time consuming process, needless to say:)
hmm, I'd like to try that but I fear the WAF would be so low as to finally push my wife over the edge and neuter me in my sleep :(
There must be something wrong with me for not having something wrong.
