It doesn't go with any particular tester, you're just missing the power cord.

Nope, if you look at other images of them, it plugs right into the wall.
I've been looking since I read your post and cannot find anything on this other than *bay listings with descriptions telling less than I knew. I have a screw driver here, I;ll open 'er up and see. I wonder if the cord is in that tube caddy? I haven't opened it in years.
I think I'd be afraid to put 120VAC on this with tubes plugged in. There would be some of Dak's new years type shorts.
There's some series resistance there so you don't burn up the filament in the DUT. All this box does is test to see if the filament is broken in the tube, so just a continuity tester.
