I do have a question.
Is there any sonic advantage in running the 6922 that hard?
Maybe a mod to the circuit so the tubes are not being run so hard would allow you could use any 6dj8/6922 you wanted to?

I think C-J engineered the 6922 pre generation on 6h23 ev tubes:
specs differ from euro and american e88cc ;i have tried
jj,tesla and mullard e88cc on my pr 17 ls:they last one month or two
then they loose bite on bass or treble .
On my opinion is better staying with well selected 6922 eh,sovtek
or 6h23 ev
how about a JAN 6922?
