I know of no US made tubes, with JAN or other mil spec designation, and gold pins. European E8XCC, yes. US, no.
He should just sell them as GE made JAN-5687WA, labeled Amperex. Bet, good ones are very nice tubes. GE made some of the best, IMHO. As good as any Amperex.
Which reminds me. Must look for more GE 7581A and 6550A.

At least some of their GB products were made that way. Kind of a fad for them, because some of their GB did not have gold plated pins. The one to find is the GB 5751 with gold pins. I got a small stash of them. There were some other ones as well.
I was going to type that same thing but then I saw that FL said "...with JAN or other mil spec designation..".
Do you know of any US made, for the military, tubes with gold pins?

Made in the USA factories. I believe Sylvania also had a GB 5687 tube with gold pins. I also have some industrial type 12by7 with gp. that is all i can think of for now.
This has been why I have been so persistent. All he had to do was advertise the tubes as early black-plate RCA 12AU7 labeled 7316 (and price them accordingly). Otherwise, he is being deceptive.
