Not defending a possible fraudulent seller, but it is possible that Amperex had a reciprocal deal going with GE?
I do know that GE rebranded and sold tubes from other manufacturers.
Could Amperex have sold GE manufactured tubes?
Here is a Mullard made tube, relabeled GE.

My thoughts as well AA. By the late '60 and into the '70s marketing agreements involving relabeled parts had become fairly common. The manufacturers wanted to offer a "full catalog" of parts to their customers, but with the end of tubes in sight they didn't want to invest in the research or tooling to make every part themselves. It certainly is "possible" that GE was making tubes for Amperex, just like Mullard manufactured tubes that said "Scott" or Eico", etc. This is not to defend sellers who willfully mislabel and miss-describe their wares.

I could understand all that but....what about the gold pins?
