If anyone is interested, the old Ei 12au7 (Orion) is available from partsconnexion.com. Unbeatable on C-J PV10 for scale, dimensionality and seductive middles & upper middles.
The price is also unbeatable, and that's what probably will make you guys turn up your nose :-)
