They sound just fine in the frontend of my WAVAC MD-805ms, replacing 5751s.
Here it is below a Mullard gray-ladder-plates CV4024 and (top) a new JJ ECC81.

...(including the 5751); I think I'll measure it this aft. Will report back.

Measured these installed in my WAVAC MD-805ms driving (full-range) only the MR and treble of my Serenity Super-7s. Used broadband pink noise; measured with A-weighting to reduce the affects of low-frequency traffic noise, at the listening position. Amps' level controls (already set to c. 9:30-o'clock) were tweaked slightly to equalize the 2 channels' output levels using the original GE 5751s. That setting proved excellent--the average left-to-right level difference averaged 0.1dB (no, I can't measure noise that accurately, but that's the result of the arithmetic using raw numbers to the 1/4dB).

Quick look at the tube data, E180CC has mu closer to the 12AY7.
The E180CC is almost identical to the 7062. I have many Amperex 7062's and they are a very good sounding tube. The E180CC/7062 is much more like a 12AV7 than a 12AY7.
The Philips E180CC is more analytical in my amps than the Amperex 7062 and less to my taste than the 7062 .... but less microphonic.

7062/E180CC: mu = 46, gm = .0064 A/V, rp = 7.2k, Pp = 2W,
Here are a few more variations to the 12A*7/ family to compare:
I prefer the 12AV7 with its low Rp and higher Gm.
