Eli,
I believe you meant 6087. GE made some fine mil spec 6087's. A nice slow-start "5Y3WGT" rectifier. I also like the Bendix 6106 in some 5Y3GT applications. The 6106 has a really slow-start character (like 15-30 seconds).

Correct! My fingers were fat. :> ( I'll try to edit the error. Yes, the GEs are nice. Raytheon made some excellent 6087s too.
The 6106 is fabulous, but can be very pricey. Talk about a TOUGH hombre, the 6106 was used in Nike SAMs. The type sounds damned good too.

The 6106 wasn't used in the Nike missile itself, but it was used in the radar, radio and LCT equipment. I have a couple and they are rugged!
