Greetings,
I am gathering parts to build the Reichert "Flesh and Blood" 300b amplifier. In his article the author refers to parallel values for what I assume are 2W Allen bradley 24k and 27k resistors. I am not sure of what two values of resistor parallel to these values. I don't believe that AB made either a 48k or a 54k ohm value. Does anyone know what Herb used to get his 24k and 27k 3Watters? Most of the parts are gone for the brands he chose in the caps and the Tango transformers.
Thanks, Mike

12K is a standard value in carbon como. Two in series will get you to 24K.
Somewhere, I have a link to a handy parallel resistance calculator online. I'll post it if I can find it.

"Still Working the Problem"
That's a different one, and even better than the one I was looking for.

Easy enough -
24K = 62K & 39K
27K = 62K & 47K
