How about a tube seller on Agon who buys from Ebay, flips it on Agon, and uses the same exact pictures from the Ebay ad that he won? I email him saying I would think twice of doing that and he takes the pic down.
Also simply says "we have tested" them...but nothing else. lol, yeah okay.
I see more and more why it is so crucial to buy tubes from a very reputable source and not ad/bidding sites, for the most part.

Reminds me of another low and "reputable"?? selling site and owner, recently deceased, who slammed ebay every way conceiveable while touting how his products were gold, only to try to convince me of selling him some tubes that did not sell on an ebay auction. Imagine that? I told him to pound sand. It all came around I guess in the end since he zapped himself. GR!!!!

I stumbled across this thread and thinking maybe one of you could help, I am trying to test more modern tubes on my hickok mainly 7199 7591 and others, the settings for these do not appear on the roll chart, foreign tube list, or obsolete tube list. any help? thanks

7591 6.3 JR 6345-0 Bias:10 English:90 Press P4 gm:6300
7199 6.3 EV 7236-0 Bias:11 English:85 gm3500 pentode section
7199 6.3 EV 9108-0 Bias:30 English:75 gm 2100 triode section
