I didn't know Dynaco made a tube ST-120. There's a transistor ST-120. The picture looks like a modified ST-70. Am I missing something?

Yes. You're missing something. This is an "ST 120"
It shares a name with a god awful solid state amp from the 70's, but it has nothing else in common.

So it really isn't a DYNACO ST-120, it's somebody else's ST-120. :-)
Its the finest sounding 60wpc KT88 based tube amp on the planet cleverly disguised as a homemadish looking piece of electronics.
You would have to own one to have any idea what it really is.
Actually his ST70 is still featured right along with the ST120. Both are superb, but recently I've really been drawn to the ST70, especially when using the 6P3CE output tube.....pure magic. Thank you Michael Samra for finding and Jim McShane for screening /selling this tube.
