  A = E88CC
  6= sixth revision
  1 = 1971
  G = seventh month of production year

  Consistant with codes of 8 (month) 71 Year on tubes

  Siemens were still decent then, still with old-style shield/halo construction, but are not as refined as early '60s tubes. Still, might be considered the best E88CC that was still being made in the early '70s.

    Where can one find a message or database that lists all the Siemens marking options? I've been collecting a whole bunch of Siemens tubes, but don't know much about how to identify them. Thanks, Samir.
