Gain - many things. vintage 845s are better in all respects than Chinese. Life, sound, build quality, etc. Loss - nothing, except $ and time to find them..... ;-)

WE was supposed to restart this past spring/summer but that didn't happen. Will be a few months yet, most likely. Check www.westernelectric.com
