HELLO ALL..Found in "California Audio Labs", TEMPEST model, circa 1986 I believe, "GOLD AERO" 6922s marked as "..made in Great Britian..". I'm unsure if these are the stock tubes, or if I installed them after purchase. I have some "GOLD AERO" 6922/E88CC marked "..made in Holland..", designated "mc phono" which I purchased around same time and used in PhonoStage of ARC Pre Amp. These are distinctly different in internal construction. Might anyone out there know the TRUE IDENTITY of the "..made in Great Britian.." 6922s ? I always assumed, perhaps mistakenly, those marked "Holland" were Philips. THANKS, JOHN PAUL

I had a Cal Aria circa 1989 that came with Gold Aero. Those particular tubes were made in USSR. There was no country of origin marked on the tube however. Suggest you compare the tube to some of the early Sovteks.

Does it have any Philips/Mullard dating codes etched in the glass?
