This may be a bit obscure, but I will ask anyway. I just purchased a very old Lorenz (German) cinema amplifier that uses push pull RL12P35 output pentodes. From what I gather, the RL12P35 was a German Wehrmacht transmitting pentode, but it was used by several companies such as Lorenz as an audio output tube in some larger cinema amps such as this.
Is anyone familiar at all with the sound of amps that use this tube? I have no idea if this particular amp will be any good in stock condition, but I have seen a few website (mainly German) of DIY amps using RL12P35's.
I just thought I would ask to see if anyone has some experience with this really oddball (in the US) tube.

Thank you for the schematic. I have seen that one before, but unfortunately, it is not my amp. My amp is the LVA/B30, which uses 2 EF12k and 2 RL12P35 with 2 unknown rectifiers at the moment.
It must be an amp built at a transitional period using later G8 (Stahlroehr) base tubes along with the RL12P35, then coupled with parts such as plate current meters which look almost identical to some used on Lorenz military radios that I have seen.
I have not been able to find any schematics for it, however. A few people still have the sockets for sale, and one can occaisionally find the tubes up for sale on Ebay, but they are sort of pricey, although generally not widely used.
