The bias readings were wandering 10-15mA on my Cary monoblocks, and the bias wouldn't zero. The bias wouldn't zero on my meter because the Cetron 300B tubes were trying to short out. Put in new Electro Harmonix 300B gold grid tubes, was able to zero. However the bias readings were much worse, wandering all over the place. Put in new rectifiers, problem solved. Now I get constant bias readings of 83mA on both monoblocks. I'm a happy bunny again. Could a bad 6SL7 (input) tube also upset bias readings in this way. Thanks.
